Use both, and they connect

Neither needs the other. When an owner uses Paddock Garage and their shop uses Paddock Shop, a request can go one way and the finished work comes back.

A request does not authorize any work or charges.
  1. Out from the Garage. The owner picks what to share for this visit and sends it to the shop.
  2. Into the Shop. It arrives with what the owner notices kept apart from what they ask for. The shop answers, books a time and checks the car in to a repair order.
  3. The estimate. The owner approves it, line by line, on the shop's approval page. Nothing is done or charged before that.
  4. Back to the Garage. At pickup, if the owner agreed, the work done, the part numbers, the mileage and the shop's recommendations go into the car's history, signed by the shop.
